H&A Outfitters, Inc. offers professional quality elk hunts throughout New Mexico in some of the best public land game management units in the western states. Be it the famed Gila National Forest or the Valles Vidal or even the highly sought after once in a lifetime Valles Caldera preserve H&A outfitters is fully licensed and permitted to offer guided hunts in these areas. With 30+ years of experience in hunting and guiding these units, H&A Outfitters has what it takes for a fun and successful New Mexico elk hunt.
It doesn't matter what weapon choice you prefer. H&A Outfitters has a guide with the knowledge and experience to insure that your opportunity for success is as high as it possibly can be. They hunt the early archery and muzzleloader seasons when the bulls are giving away their location as they bugle to their cows and warn off rival bulls. At this time bulls are often bugled to easy archery range. They also are in the field during the rifle seasons after the rut has ended for the year. At this time the bulls are starting to bachelor up again and prepare for the coming winter. The H&A guides knowledge and experience will lead the hunter to where these bulls will be located recovering from the rut.
Though elk is what New Mexico is known for, several other species are also hunted here. Trophy pronghorn are also a New Mexico opportunity. Other states have more pronghorn, but its difficult to find a place with more trophy quality pronghorn. Mule Deer, Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Lion hunts are also available through H&A outfitters. They have had the privilege of guiding hunters to some of the largest examples of each of these species as well. If you have already drawn a tag or are just researching the possibilities of a New Mexico hunt, H&A Outfitters should be one of your first calls.
