Montana Hunting Company offers fully outfitted and guided hunts on private ranches throughout the state of Montana and northern Wyoming. These ranches range in size from a modest 8,000 acres to a giant 120,000 acres. Some of these ranches are very well known for producing giant bull elk and buck deer (both mule deer and whitetail). All of these ranches are made up of prime mule deer, whitetail deer and elk habitat and produce some spectacular quality. Bull elk scoring in excess of 360, mule deer bucks exceeding 185 and whitetail breaking the 160 mark have been taken on these ranches. As an added bonus, several ranches are able to offer a pronghorn on a trophy fee basis.

Any hunter interested in taking a guided hunt in Montana need to seriously consider this outfitter. Large private ranches coupled with professional game management insures a top quality hunting opportunity. Rob Arnaud, the outfitter on these ranches, has a degree in Animal Science and is charged with managing the deer and elk so that they have the opportunity to grow to their full potential. Most deer taken are 5 years of age or older while the elk are averaging around 9 years old.

Hunters will be lodged on the ranch they will be hunting and will drive out to the hunting area each day. One ranch does require that hunters provide their own meals otherwise this is included as part of the hunt. Hunter success rates are very high averaging near 90 to 95% year to year. Those hunting deer have the option of taking a mule deer or a whitetail depending on their desires. Then there are the bison. These American icons roam a 113,000 acre ranch bounded by a huge expanse of wilderness. Success rate on these hunts have been 100% for many years. Guaranteed tags are available to anyone interested in a bison hunt.
