MT160PMore Hunts from this outfitter
Hunt Description
This outfitter has near 100,000 acres of private land available to his pronghorn hunter. There is also a very unique opportunity to hunt from a boat on the Fort Peck Lake cruising the shoreline until a good buck is spotted. On this pronghorn hunt, hunters have had a 100% shot opportunity for the past 5-years.
Archery and rifle hunts are available and are guided 2x1 though 1x1 can be arranged if needed. With the lake so close by sitting water holes during the archery season is not effective. For the archery hunter, sitting blinds at crossing points is a common method employed. However, on the huge expanses of private land, decoys are also used to draw the rutting buck in close. This is a very fun and fast paced method that has proven very effective.
Meals and lodging are included in the ranch house located minutes from the hunting areas. Hot home cooked meals, a warm shower and comfortable bed make for a stress free environment to unwind from a day afield.
A mule deer can also be added to this pronghorn for those that draw a tag. Due to it's reasonable cost, a mule deer and pronghorn combo hunt has become one of the most highly sought after hunting trips the past few years. See the mule deer hunts by clicking "More hunts from this outfitter" above.
