Based on a 20,000 acre private ranch there is ample territory for these deer to roam and hide. Mule Deer and Whitetail are both available and this is an either species hunt. This outfitter has chosen to offer these hunts as archery only so there will be no rifle hunting for deer on this ranch.

Since this hunt is on private land, permits can be acquired over the counter and can be purchased upon booking the hunt. No drawing is required and hunters can choose between a September or November hunt. The September hunt will be mostly a spot and stalk affair with some blinds being utilized where it make sense. The November season will be during the rut and mostly blind hunting will be employed. However, where the opportunity presents itself, some spot and stalk hunting may be possible.

There will be limited hunters granted access to the ranch each season. During the early season in September, only 2-3 hunters will be taken allowing each hunter the space to hunt unpressured deer. The same methods will be used later in November during the rut. ATV's and 4x4 pickups will be utilized to access the various areas of the ranch.

Lodging will be provided in a ranch house on the ranch and only a short distance from the hunting areas. All meals and lodging will be included in the hunt rate.
