Hunt Description Based around Buffalo Wyoming, this hunt takes place on 10's of thousands of private acres. Whitetail hunting in Wyoming isn't as popular and well known as hunts for the big muleys that live there are, but for the whitetail hunter this opportunity should not be overlooked. It is not uncommon to see hundreds of deer with dozens of bucks on a 5-day hunt. Archery hunting in September when the bucks are coming into the agricultural fields can be extremely exciting and rifle hunting in October and November with the rut heating up will bring the mature bucks out of hiding.
Historically, drawing a tag for this area of the state has been quite easy. Typically tags are left over after the first choice drawing has been completed. This is due to the vast area of private land that is inaccessible without permission. This outfitter has numerous leases with the best ranches in the area. All of which hold high concentrations of whitetail deer.
Archery hunts in September (crossbows are legal) are out of blinds set on crossing points into and out of the agricultural fields. These fields attract dozens of deer each night. Rifle hunts later in the year are spot and stalk.
Lodging is in comfortable modern cabins with hot and cold running water, electricity, beds with fresh linens.
