This outfitters wilderness camp is located a short 8 miles from the Yellowstone National Park border. Through their natural daily movements and then the migration later in the year, there are loads of elk available to hunters in this camp. A 5 hour horse ride into the North Absaroka Wilderness puts hunters into prime elk habitat with unpressured elk.

This camp has been run by the same family since the 1998. They know their hunting area very well and where to find the elk in the most difficult of conditions. They are a small operation taking only 6 hunters per week. This insures the highest probability of success and allows each hunter to receive a personal hunting experience. A wilderness tent camp is the base of operations with seasoned and experience guides, packers, wranglers and cooks. Hunters are well fed with three hearty meals each day. You wont be hungry in this camp.

Wyoming elk unit 51 is a limited quota area and will take preference points to insure a successful draw. However, there are also random tags awarded each year and it is possible to draw anytime an application is submitted. With Yellowstone so close by, the quality of bulls taken out of this camp can be very impressive. Most are solid 6x6 bulls averaging above 300 and this outfitter is able to boast some bulls exceeding 350 inches. The guides are great callers and are experienced archery hunters as well.
