Arizona Mountain Outfitters is a small and personal hunting outfit focusing on the quality of the hunt rather than a large clientele each season. Dale has lived in and hunted the trophy units of northern Arizona for the past 15 years. Between guiding hunters in Arizona and Colorado, he has built a long record of success. Few hunters, prepared for the demands of hunting these trophy Arizona units have been unsuccessful while hunting with Dale and his guides.
The top elk units of 8, 9, and 10 and deer units of 12A and 12B do require a hunter draw a tag and Dale knows these units well. A short drive from home and he is scouting or hunting. Hunts are also offered in areas 5, 6, and 7 as well. Though not as highly sought after as the “premium” units, these areas do produce some fantastic bull elk and buck deer. He even offers hunts during the OTC archery seasons for mule deer and javelina. A late season mule deer rut hunt with a javelina options is a great way to end the hunting season.
When it comes to the hunt itself, AMO has a variety of options. Hunts are typically booked for 5-days and are guided with a 1x1 or 1x2 ratio depending on the hunters preference, Additional days can be added if needed. They also offer a variety of lodging options for those hunters booking a fully guided and outfitted hunt including a lodge, motel or tent camp. The tent camp option will be in spacious and comfortable wall tents. Whether a hunter has drawn a tag or is going to purchase an over the counter tag, Arizona Mountain Outfitters has the hunt to fit your needs.
