Wyoming Absaroka Range Elk Hunts - Unit 61, 62, 63 & 64

* These hunts take place in the trophy elk units of 61, 62, 63 and 64. Some areas are hunted from a wilderness horse back camp while other hunts can be from the modern hunting lodge on the ranch.

* Lodging, meals, transportation in the field and game care is included in the hunt rate.

* These elk units are managed to produce trophy class bulls. It can take many years to draw a tag though it is possible to draw the very first time applying. The deadline to apply is typically the end of January each year though points can be purchased through September.

* Great quality bulls are possible. Bulls scoring in excess of 350 have been taken with some going much higher. A 410 class bull was taken from this ranch a few years ago.

* This ranch is able to offer a late season rifle hunt in November after the elk have all migrated out of the high country. It is not uncommon to see several dozen bulls per day as you search for that one special bull. Lodging for this late hunt will be in the modern luxurious ranch lodge.
